It has recently announced that the company received $400K in an angel financing round. Investors included Aroa Ventures (Family Office of OYO Founder Ritesh Agarwa), Maninder Gulati (Global, Chief Strategy Officer, OYO), Kavikrut (Chief Growth Officer, OYO), Abhinav Sinha (Global Chief Operating Officer, OYO), Rohit Kapoor (CEO, India-South-East Asia, OYO) and along with Vineet Nanda (Founder Sift Capital), Manish Chopra (Global Leader, Genpact), and Ashish Goel (Founder CEO, Urban Ladder). Project-based learning, according to Wiingy, is the most effective approach to learn. The company’s strength is its revolutionary curriculum, which allows students to master science, coding, and hardware topics while constructing robot’s projects under the supervision of live online professors. Wiingy will use its first round of funding to create and extend their robotics kit supply chain, as well as to assemble a strong early team with expertise in technology, product, teaching, and design.
