WhiteHat Jr raises $10 million in a Series A funding round
WhiteHat Jr, a Mumbai based EdTech company has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round. The funding round was led by Nexus Venture Partners and Omidyar Network. WhiteHat Jr provides fundamentals of coding and algorithms in early childhood age (6-14 years). Using the WhiteHat’s platform, children can build digital products and work with animation.
“Our mission is to harness the natural creativity of kids and shift their mind-set from an early age from being consumers to creators of technology. It’s been heartening to see the projects of kids in the first six months of launch as they are creating immensely creative, high utility digital applications that are bound to have long-term impact,” said, Karan Bajaj, Founder, WhiteHat Jr.
Through this raised funds, company would enhance their technology platform and add more creative courses for students and expand their user base in more cities across the country.
