Vedantu acquired Instasolv for an undisclosed amount
Bengaluru based online tutoring application company “Vedantu” has acquired Instasolv for an undisclosed amount. Instasolv is a Noida based edtech startup which helps students in solving their doubts. While the details of deal were undisclosed, Vedantu has invested $2 million in the Noida based edtech startup in July 2020. “Last year we took a strategic decision to invest in Instasolv to strengthen our play in doubt-solving, which is one of the key aspects of learning online. We have seen tremendous potential in Instasolv and share the same mission to democratize education in the country. Through this partnership we endeavor to change India’s learning curve through definitive outcomes,” said Vamsi Krishna, chief executive officer and co-founder of Vedantu. Currently, Instasolv has more than 1 million user base on its platform, which will be added to Vedantu’s total user base. Vedantu is currently valued at $280 million with its recent funding rounds in 2020.
