Primary Schools in Uttarakhand will reopen from September 21
After being shut for months owing to the COVID-19 outbreak, primary schools in Uttarakhand will reopen for grades 1-5 from September 21. According to a new directive published by the department of school education, courses would only last three hours each day and students will not be permitted to bring food to school. Students in these classes will also have the option of pursuing their education online, according to the ruling. The school authorities will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the school, including classrooms, restrooms, offices, and libraries are properly sanitised. Students and faculty will be required to wear masks and ensure physical separation. Every school will have a nodal administrator to ensure that the COVID-19 method and guidelines are followed properly.
