London-based Knowledge Hacks App Uptime secure $16 Million in a Seed funding round
Founded in 2018, Uptime is a free, next-generation edtech application that offers five-minute learning hacks from the world’s most helpful books, documentaries, and courses utilizing a mixture of AI and Human Curation. Uptime recently announced that it has raised $16 million in a seed funding round. The latest funding comes from Uptime’s Founders that are serial entrepreneurs Jamie True and Jack Bekhor. “The global edtech market was estimated at over $89 billion last year, with people contributing hundreds of dollars on online education, growing up their soft abilities and viewing documentaries. It’s a tremendous possibility for educational content producers but for clients, it leads to knowledge overload and it can be troublesome to cut through and find the property in what seems like an oversaturated market,” said Uptime’s Patrick Walker. With the latest fundraised amount, the company plans to utilize the funds to approach new readers, increase product growth and upscaling the content library.
