On September 9, Tamil Nadu will decide about the reopening of schools for primary classes
Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, the Tamil Nadu School Education Minister, stated that the administration would decide on reopening schools for students in classes I through VIII in the state on September 9. “For classes IX-XII, schools have reopened. MK Stalin, the Chief Minister, has asked us to watch school activities, as well as the influence of Covid-19 on children and staff, for eight days. We’re keeping an eye on it. A decision (on reopening primary schools) would be taken after consultations with the Chief Minister,” Anbil said. According to Anbil, pupils have been advanced to the next class as a result of the Covid-19 scenario, and as a result, Class IX students are being orientated on important components of Class VIII portions throughout the form bridging course (which lasts 45 days). In addition, Anbil stated that workers would be employed in all schools to ensure that hygiene was maintained.
