Jaipur-based edtech startup Tinkerly bags Rs 6.5 Cr in a funding round
Before COVID-19, children learning in far less than 1% of Indian schools were exposed to robotics or coding, according to the company. The advent of online education has liberalized access to high-quality education. Tinkerly’s unique combination of toys and conversational curriculum allows learners to create fascinating robots, make intelligent AI gadgets, and create endless lines of code while receiving live coaching from instructors in their native language. Tinkerly recently announced that it has raised Rs 6.5 Cr in a funding round. The latest funding round was headed by Navneet Tech Ventures. The funds will go into product development, raising customer engagement, and expanding into new countries with vernacular content, all in the hopes of building a strong worldwide (global with customized additions) brand. Tinkerly states that after the debut of the latest edition of its learning platform Let’s Tinker in April of this year, its monthly profits have increased by 8X in the last 3 months.
