Brand Capital, an arm of Times Group Media House has funded an undisclosed amount to the Kerala based edtech startup Doubtbox. Doubtbox is an educational startup which specializes in live teaching sessions. Founder and CEO of Doubtbox said that the raised funds will be used for advertising their products. Products of Doubtbox are available in different mediums like tablets, pen drives, SD cards and online. These products are marketed in Kerala exclusively by the leading media house Malayalam Manorama. Doubtbox is basically for the students from class 1st to 12th of CBSE and ICSE.

Doubtbox helps students to solve doubts regarding their syllabus and assignments through live teaching feature. Students and parents can choose the teacher according to their preference of location, rating, and qualification. If we talk in terms of cost and compare with other players in the market, the products of Doubtbox are very affordable. Amazon Web Services has selected Doubtbox as India’s fast-growing Education Technology startup of 2018. The ed-tech market is on a growth trajectory in India and is expected to reach $2.0 billion by the end of 2021, from $0.4 billion in 2017.
