Many States & Union Territories mulling Schools Closing because of the spike in COVID-19 Cases
Due to the hike in cases of COVID-19 cases, many of the States and Union Territories have both closed educational institutes previously or are thinking it. By February, normal classes in most of the states and Union Territories had resumed after being closed for around eight months or more. While some states had restarted schooling for grades 10th and 12th, the board examination students, and senior grades, several others have resumed normal classes for kids in primary school. Still, amid the current hike in running coronavirus pandemic cases over the nation, many States and Union Territories including Puducherry, Punjab, & Gujarat have closed schools, colleges, and other educational institutions in either part of the state or throughout it. While the Karnataka Government has intended to commence the next academic session for schools from July 15, 2021.
