Seoul-based Edtech Startup Ringle has raised $8.9M in a Series A funding round
Founded in 2015 by two Standford Alumni, Seoul, South Korea-based Ringle has recently announced that it has raised $8.9M in a Series A funding round. This funding round was led by Must Asset Management, which brings the company’s worth to $89 million. Ringle has a portfolio of 1000+ students from all over the elite universities of the US & UK as Ringle Tutors. Ringle provides a 1:1 video tutoring platform to students where students can interact with teachers and improve their spoken as well as verbal English for various purposes including studying abroad, improving pronunciations, punctuations, etc., it also provides approximately 300+ digital textbooks, online/offline seminars and webinars related to career guidance, studying abroad, etc. Ringle gives the user the facility to select the tutor based on a common interest, major, or experience. The 1:1 video tutoring platform used by Ringle is developed in collaboration with Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIS)’s Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) research team. Ringle has recently been getting a huge interest from junior school students also. With the latest fundraised amount Ringle is intending to extend its lead within the Edu-Tech market.
