ReSkills EdTech, a Malaysian startup, has raised $1.5 million to expand its reach in Southeast Asia
ReSkills, one of the fastest-growing online live learning platforms, was founded in 2020 by Jin Tan. It allows users or learners free entrance to instructor-led live education programs every day for fifteen months. Governments, enterprises, universities, colleges, and schools, as well as associations and training providers, collaborate with the startup. ReSkills EdTech recently announced that it has secured $1.5 million in an angel funding round. The latest funding round was headed by JSF Platinum. Jin Tan, ReSkills’ Chief Executive Officer, said regarding the company and the fresh capital. “We understand that education is a primary human right that should be available and affordable to all. These funds show that the financial community believes ReSkills can fulfil its purpose. The online learning trend had also evolved into a new dimension as a result of the Covid epidemic.” ReSkills is also looking to expand its global operations through its ReSkills Hubs. It began operations in August 2021 in Indonesia, followed by the Philippines in September, Thailand, and Vietnam in November, and India in December.
