Raptor Technologies acquired LobbyGuard to expand school safety
Houston-based edtech company, Raptor Technologies has acquired LobbyGuard Solutions for an undisclosable amount. LobbyGuard, based in Raleigh was founded in 2015. LobbyGuard provides visitor management and front office automation system, providers. LobbyGuard claims to have over 1 million people visiting their site each week at schools, businesses, medical buildings and government offices.
“The combination with LobbyGuard is a tremendous step forward in achieving our goal of protecting every student in every school, every day” said Jim Vesterman, CEO of Raptor. Raptor Technologies provides K-12 school security services. Raptor claims that it has recognized more than 50,000 instances of sex criminals attempting to enter schools and has issued more than 250,000 custody alerts.The combined of both organizations will assist about 30,000 K-12 schools, which will help the school to provide high level of security to the students and staff.
