Gurugram-based edtech startup PlanetSpark bags $13.5M in a Series B funding round

PlanetSpark, established in 2016 by Maneesh Dhooper and Kunal Malik, provides live 1:1 public speaking and innovative writing classes for kids aged 4 to 16. A ‘Wow’ syllabus is available from the company, which incorporates storytelling, poetry, debating, podcasting, and stand-up comedy and far more. PlanetSpark recently announced that it has secured $13.5 million in a Series B funding round. The latest financing round was headed by Prime Venture Partners and others. “We are active in practically every Middle Eastern country, as well as North America, which includes the United States and Canada. We will use these funds to further solidify our positions in these markets, which are rather big. Then, in the coming year, we will expand into fresh markets in Europe, such as the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Southeast Asia,” said Maneesh Dhooper, Co-Founder, PlanetSpark. According the officials, the newly invested cash will be utilised to accelerate corporate development, product advancement, and worldwide growth.
