Paytm Education brings focus on learning and exams with fee payments, financial Services
Indian e-commerce payment platform “Paytm” is planning to provide a portal for students, parents and government job aspirants. It will provide a fee payment platform to more than 25,000 institutions that will include schools, colleges, coaching centres and exam centres as well. The platform will not only have the fee payment option, but also it will include an application form, career counselling and more. Paytm will target private as well as government institutions. The list includes names such as Railway Recruitment Board, Maharashtra Public Service Commission, National Testing Agency, Indian Navy, Amity, VIT, Manipal, AKTU, Army Public Schools, Delhi Public Schools, Delhi University etc. With addition to this, Paytm is planning to sign up 3.5 crore users across 20,000 schools and thousands of coaching and higher education institutes. It is estimated that by the financial year 2020, Paytm will cross Rs 20 crore GMV (Gross merchandise volume) in the education sector of India.
