Pay4Education raises $575K to launch college-cost platform
Springfield, Mass.-based fintech company Pay4Education has raised $575,000 in a pre-seed round. The round is led by MassMutual’s Springfield Venture Fund and participated include Alchemy Group and several angel investors. MassMutual Ventures previously invested in Tuition.io. Pay4Education is a provider of college costs and financing information. The platform is scheduled for launch in early July. Pay4Education provides a personalized college decision platform that allows students and families to determine the ROI of college with transparency on real costs, financing options, and outcomes. To understand all four years of cost, the company works directly with consumers, with financial and college advisors. The company aims to use the money for product development and marketing purposes so that customers can be aware of their platform.
