Oxford University announced the merger between Oxford and Asia Education
Two education divisions of Oxford University Press (OUP), Oxford Education and Asia Education have announced their merger into a new business operation. Fathima Dada, the Managing Director of Oxford Education will be heading this new division. South Africa born Fathima has also worked with Pearson, which would help her to adapt the new environment quickly. “We are already very successful in the markets that we serve, but we want to ensure that we can accelerate our digital transformation and building of market leading educational services,” said, Portwood, CEO, Oxford University Press. OUP is known as the largest university press with presence across the world. OUP publishes all academic disciplines, bibles, music, school and colleges text books, business books, reference books etc. The merger between both the divisions would help OUP to capture Asian market along with America and European market.
