Ahmedabad-based edtech startup Orphicy has raised INR 2.5 crore in a funding round

The Ahmedabad-based bootstrapped firm which was founded in September 2020 with an initial fund of Rs.2 crores collected by the founders. Orphicy, founded by Vipul Tyagi, provides education modules that employ visualisation techniques, live interactions, analytics, and psychometric analysis to achieve the intended outcomes. They also provide each student with personalised career counselling. At a valuation of Rs 25 crore, Orphicy, an edtech firm, has recently announced that it has raised Rs 2.5 crore from NRI tech enthusiasts currently working in executive positions at Facebook and McKinsey. IMS Learning Resources also bought a 1% share in the business. The first round of money will be used to improve marketing campaigns, add creative technology-enabled interfaces, and expand the curriculum with additional modules, according to the company. It also intends to grow its workforce by hiring young to senior-level talent in order to create a dependable and trusted brand that makes learning enjoyable and powerful.
