From next week, Odisha will reopen schools for classes 6 and 7
Recently, the Odisha government declared that schools for grades 6 and 7 will resume on November 15. According to the School and Mass Education Department, these students will be taught from 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., with three hours dedicated to education. Students have the option of attending classes online or in person. Students in offline mode are not required to attend class, according to the department. The Information & Public Relations Department tweeted, “State Govt has been happy to authorise reopening of schools in respect of Class VI & VII pupils for the academic year 2021-21 wef 15th Nov 2021.” All should follow acceptable Covid protocols, according to the School and Mass Education Department. Due to the coronavirus epidemic, classroom teaching has been halted since March 2020. Physical education lessons began on July 26 for classes 10 and 12, on October 21 for class 11, and on October 25 for class 8.
