Singapore-based edtech firm Manabie raised $3 million

Founded in 2019, and further opened in Vietnam in January 2020, joins online and offline education by giving a mobile application and additions it with offline education centers. It gives courses on subjects such as mathematics, english, physics, and chemistry. Manabie recently announced that it has raised $3 million from Do Ventures, Chiba Dojo, and Genesia Ventures. The company’s platform applies artificial intelligence and machine learning to create simple learning plans for students. Meanwhile, it also gives a toolkit for Vietnamese educators to assist them to enhance their experience in training and support them to change from core education to personalized education. According to the Manabie, it has more than 350,000 downloads after one year of starting in Vietnam and has five learning centers in Ho Chi Minh City. With the latest fundraised amount, it intends to scale up its online-merge-offline design, concentrating on enhancing the user expertise in the learner area.
