Landed raises $7.5 million to help educators build houses
Landed, a San Francisco based housing finance company has raised $7.5 million in a Series A round. “Landed” provides housing loans to teachers to build their houses in metro areas like San Francisco, Denver, Los Angeles, and Seattle. The San Francisco based startup has helped hundreds of educators with more than $100 million worth of houses. The company has announced that they would start working with higher education instructors also. “Our mission is to help these people build financial security and help them remain committed to their communities,” Landed co-founder Alex Lofton said. The company doesn’t have any income restrictions for teachers and they provide $120,000 as the maximum amount of support and also offers down payment schemes. Landed would use the fund to expand its operations in different markets and diversify according to the demand of people.
