Labster raised $21 million, to Bring digital labs in classrooms

The Denmark-based startup, Labster has raised $21 million in Series B funding round led by Owl Ventures. Labster develops virtual laboratory simulations and provides high-quality science education to students around the world. On Labster, students can conduct lab assignments in a digital version of a science lab, so that they can prove their understanding of a particular topic. The experience includes molecular 3D animated simulations, quiz questions and background theory. Labster’s website lists almost 100 lessons, ranging from chemistry to genetics to diets. Labster aims to use the fund to expand the reachability and to develop the new virtual lab simulations, giving students and educators alike even more access to realistic lab experiences.
