Singapore-based edtech startup KOCO raised SGD700k
Founded in 2020, Singaporean digital learning startup KOCO recently announced that it has raised SGD700k from undisclosed investors. This financing comes at an amazing time for KOCO as its EdTech aids – KOCO Paper and KOCO Schools, are increasing business drive during this pandemic. KOCO, with services in both Singapore and Indonesia, has grown its user base to 11,000 users in a period of 5 months. “Since its establishment in March 2020, KOCO will proceed to give developing value to parents, students and educators. We have risen quickly in Singapore and Indonesia by predicting and directing consumer demands with a data-driven approach underpinned by a skilled team. The funding will stimulate the extension programs we have recognized as more parents and educators move towards digital education solutions,” said Lenie Chow, Founder and CEO of KOCO. The latest fundraised amount will stimulate KOCO’s extension plan to reach the fast-evolving requirements in the education ecosystem.
