Sweden-based edtech startup imagiLabs lands €250K in a pre-Seed funding round
Established in 2018, Sweden-based imagiLabs, a female-founded startup that offers coding to young girls, has announced that it has raised €250K in pre-seed funding to provide the next creation of working women with significant coding abilities. ImagiLabs designs fun wearable gadgets like ‘imagiCharm’, which can be customized by coding to spark the attention of young girls, and a mobile application that helps to learn programming and allows girls to unite over their interest for productive coding. “In the second half of 2020, we concentrated on getting as much feedback as possible from the first imagiCharm buyers and include their feedback into the advancements we are executing, mostly on the imagiLabs application and our training content,” said the Founder of imagiLabs. With the latest fundraised amount, imagiLabs’ intends international expansion and to stay to promote an interested community of young girl coders, who utilize the imagiLabs apps to acquire from each other, share coding suggestions and ideas, and develop connections.
