Gurgaon based edtech startup Questt raises ₹9.6 crore in a funding round
A Gurgaon based edtech startup “Questt” has raised ₹9.6 crore in a seed funding round. The funding round was led by Chiratae Ventures, AET Fund along with the participation from angel investors like Kunal Bahl, Rohit Bansal, Pranay Gupta and few others. Questt was founded in December 2020 by Akhil Singh, Mohsin M and Rohit Pande, it helps students in homework assistance. Questt helps to automate the homework assessment process, which further helps to save 90% of the time and provides gamified experience to its users. “The current system asks teachers and students to invest a huge amount of time without yielding significant output and this is what we are trying to solve at Questt. We are building an Education Data Stack to empower teachers with deep insights that allow for a more customized and effective learning experience,” said Akhil Singh, co-founder of Questt. It’s quite impressive to see a company closing its first funding round within the 3 month of its foundation. Currently, there are 40 schools associated with the company’s platform and more than one million questions has been asked. The company assess the homework through its six different parameters, which includes concepts, cognitive abilities and skills.
