Government allotted Rs 400 crore for creating world class educational institutions
The budget for the financial year 2019-20 has been announced. And, the government has decided to allot Rs 400 crore to create “World Class Institutions”. This allotted budget is more than three times the revised estimates of previous year. The government is also focusing on the new education policy that will help to alter India’s higher education system to one of the world’s leading education system. The new policy will bring major changes in schools and colleges both. In addition to this, Finance Minister, Mrs. Nirmala Sitharaman also announced setting up of National Research Foundation (NRF) that will fund and promote research in the country. She also announced the programme “Study in India”, that will improve education standards of India by bringing foreign students to study in Indian higher education institutions. These policies of the government will comprehensively reform the regulatory system of education and will focus on better and improved academic outcomes.
