GIBLIB raised $2.5 million in a seed funding round

GIBLIB, a Los Angeles based media provider of virtual reality videos in medical education has raised $2.5 million in a seed funding. The funding round was led by Mayo Clinic, USC Marshall Venture Fund and Venture Reality Fund. GIBLIB offers medical lectures and surgical videos to medical students in 4k and 360-degree virtual reality. The content is available on the GIBLIB website and it costs $468 per year or $50 per month. Content available on the website is recognized by the world’s leading doctors and hospitals, which helps GIBLIB to improve the learning experiences of physicians and medical students. Teaching medical students through augmented reality and virtual reality is a very unique and innovative way. GIBLIB would use the raised fund to improve the quality of their educational content and to expand in more cities.
