eShiksa raises funds from a Mumbai based investment firm
eShiksa, a Jaipur based edtech startup, which helps educational institutions in managing their digital operations has raised an undisclosed amount from “Mentor Capital”, a Mumbai based investment firm. eShiksa enables schools and colleges to go digital for their each and every process, including admission process, paying fees etc. eShiksa’s online modules help educational institutes with managing students, human resources, examinations and finance.
eShiksa also operates on mobile app, which enables parents to review their child’s development and pay his fees online. Pravin Sharma, founder, eShiksa, informed reporters that this fresh fund received from Mentor Capital will be invested to expand their operation geographically. eShiksa has a user base of more than 5 lakh users, with more than 900 institutions and it’s currently being operated in four countries. We are seeing many startups raising funds frequently, which show the potential of education technology in the Indian education market.
