Every university needs to grant permission from UGC (University Grants Commission) to introduce any new course in their curriculum. More than 20 universities applied for starting online courses but UGC granted permission to only four universities including DU. Around 1.5 lakh students enroll every year in SOL and this introduction of online courses will help them to study anytime and anywhere according to their comfort.
