Delhi Education Budget 2021: Government Introduces New Syllabus from nursery to grade 8
Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has recently announced that Delhi government schools will have a new syllabus for the students of nursery to grade 8 and the Delhi Government has also allotted over Rs 16,300 crore this year for education. Previously, on March 5, the Delhi government has passed the constitution of the Delhi Board of School Education while a meeting. “There are about 1,000 government schools and 1,700 private schools in Delhi. All Government Schools and most Private Schools here are affiliated with CBSE. In the academic year 2021-22, we will incorporate 20-25 schools in this board,” said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Mr. Sisodia also declared that the total number of schools in Delhi has gone above 5,651 and around 16 lakh students have taken happiness classes.
