London-based Coding School Cypher bags €492K in a seed funding round
Founded in 2016, Cypher delivers uniquely focused design programs for kids ages 6 to 12, intending to encourage them to learn programming, interaction, computational thinking, and problem-solving. Cypher, a coding school, has raised €492K in seed funding, the majority of which came from 313 investors through crowdsourcing platform Seedrs. Cypher is now valued at roughly €6.8 million as a result of the financing. The money raised will be used to continue investing in platform development, make critical business hires, and expand the startup’s presence across the UK, US, and the rest of the world. In September, Cypher will launch a brand new subscription service in the United States, where children can begin with Cypher at the age of six and, by the age of twelve, will be technically literate, competent across multiple coding languages, and have learned about better and healthier screen time, mental wellbeing, and online security.
