Mumbai-based edtech startup Creative Galileo bags $2.5 million in a seed funding round

Creative Galileo is one of India’s most popular early learning apps, with over 4 million downloads in the first year of its release. With over half a million monthly active users, the App’s unique approach has made it a hit with both kids and parents. The App blends the best of teaching and pleasure to provide young minds unique, integrated learning experiences. It improves a child’s growth by using narrative movies, gamification, and customised learning trips. Apart from the Indian subcontinent, the App is gaining traction in international markets, with 10% of downloads coming from Nepal, Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States. Kalaari Capital led the round with a $2.1 million investment, with the balance coming from well-known angel investors including Harish Bahl, Jinesh Patel, Atul Nishar, Ashwin Puri, Shashin Shah, Harish Bahl, and others. The money will be used to grow the business, improve its product, generate new and fascinating content, form partnerships with top animation companies, and hire additional employees.
