Vietnam-based online startup CoderSchool raised $2.6M in a pre-Series A funding round
Founded in 2015, CoderSchool, which offers affordable full-stack web programming, machine learning, and data science courses, has educated approximately 2,000 students to date, with a career placement rate of over 80% for full-time grads. CoderSchool has recently revealed that it has received $2.6 million in pre-Series A funding round to expand its digital coding school platform. “Growing number of internet enterprises and digital businesses in Southeast Asia, the need for capable engineers and developers has never been greater. The team’s commitment to raising the bar for coding instruction in the region has impressed us. We’re thrilled to be partnering with CoderSchool to give millions of new learners in Vietnam access to opportunities and resources,” said Michele Daoud, Partner of Monk’s Hill Ventures. The funds will be used by CoderSchool to expand its online teaching platform and technology infrastructure for the company’s technical education programmes that ensure job placement after completion.
