CBSE plans to group schools under Hubs of Learning
Central Board of Education has taken several measures in the past few years to improve the quality of education. From introducing yoga and physical education to introducing two levels of mathematics for class 10 students and these measures have been both holistic to academic. Now, CBSE has decided to group 4 to 6 schools in the same locality under Hubs of Learning (HoL). Schools in the same locality would form a collaborative partnership called Hub of Learning. CBSE would assign a unique number to each group formed. Schools under one HoI would share and exchange resources for the holistic development of students. Under this scheme, schools would be sharing intellectual, experiential and physical resources. Schools will share their manpower (teachers) and infrastructure (sports ground, labs). The measure of CBSE would develop a strong relationship between schools and students in the same locality.
