ApplyBoard raises $40.92 in a Series B funding round
ApplyBoard, a Canada based edtech startup has raised $40.92 million in a Series B funding round. The funding round was led by Anthos Capital, a California based investment company along with Artiman Ventures. ApplyBoard make education accessible to thousands of students around the world. ApplyBoard helps students to study at the best higher education institutions across the world. And till now ApplyBoard has helped more than 45,000 students across the globe. ApplyBoard has 170 employees around the world and has partnered with more than 1,200 schools globally. ApplyBoard was founded in 2015, by Martin Basiri and Meti Basiri and they have raised $53.29 million (estimated) till date. ApplyBoard has also partnered with We Charity, for every student who uses ApplyBoard’s platform, some part of the fee is donated in We Charity. Donations collected in We Charity are being used to construct a school in Kalinjar, India. ApplyBoard would use the raised fund to develop their AI powered platform and expand aggressively into international market.
